A gallery site for my drawing work
I wanted to create a site that would display some of the drawings I have done over the past 2 or 3 years, so I searched for some existing Jquery libraries that I could use and adapt. I was particular drawn to this design by Jorge Aguilar, so I made some changes it to fit the shape and size of my images.
For the welcome and menu screens, I looked for how to create a glowing, neon-like font and worked from an example created by Matt Smith, changing the colours and font to suit the style I wanted. I also found a 3D rotating image carousel from an Instagram post, and decided it would make a good opening screen.
Essentially, this project was a way to present my drawing work in the best possible way by utilizing some of the best open access tools available online.
